Working closely with the project quantity surveyor, we are able to continually evaluate a project's program/cost coordination through all project phases to enable informed and timely decision-making by our clients and the entire project team. Cost control techniques include program budget analysis, value engineering, life-cycle cost analysis and quantity-based estimating. We rely on an open-book, inclusive process that demonstrates the costs and benefits of varying design options. This budget confirmation process starts in the earliest stages of the project, when design and engineering alternatives have the greatest potential impact on costs. Our design teams analyze client goals, technical requirements, alternative building concepts, construction costs and long-term operational costs to define the optimum scope within the budget, ensuring long-term flexibility and value.
