Safety Toughened Glass

We manufacture toughened safety glass, between 4mm to 19mm, by subjecting it to a process of heating to approximately 720°C then rapidly and uniformly cooled.

Toughened safety glass is five times stronger than ordinary annealed glass.

This is a type of safety glass that has increased strength and will automatically shatter in small harmless pieces when broken.It is always used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are of important consideration.

Toughened safety glass is the ideal material for structural glazing.

Characteristics of Toughened Safety Glass:

• Toughened glass, when broken, splits into very small harmless particles
