This Unit was set up in response to the growing demand for legal services to secure the rights of manufacturers in respect of goods available in the Nigerian markets, stimulated apparently by the country's vast population. However, because of the dependence on technology transfer to sustain oil and gas operations in Nigeria, this Unit has been able to effectively complement the Energy Unit having regard to the registration of contracts with technology contents at NOTAP, and our office at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has played a central role in this process.
